Providing outstanding and accessible educational opportunities to our members and the entire cardiovascular ultrasound community is core to ASE’s mission. Echo Access™, A Virtual Experience – State-of-the-Art 2020, is an innovative way for ASE to widen the reach of education. There are many benefits to attending an educational course in person like networking with peers and world expert faculty, social events, and focused time for learning in a beautiful location, but we realize not everyone is able to travel to live courses.


On March 6-8, 2020 ASE will present the inaugural Echo Access, A Virtual Experience featuring content from ASE’s State-of-the-Art Echocardiography live course.


A maximum of  12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ will be available for attending this three-day virtual event.

Streaming will be approximately four hours each day from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time. Some faculty will be available during these presentations to answer questions live.


Access to the content available for 30 days. 


Participants choose to register in either a structural/mechanics or pathology stream.

Who should attend?

The program is designed for adult and pediatric cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, nurses, sonographers and fellows in training. Participants should have a practical knowledge of echocardiography.

CME information

The American Society of Echocardiography is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  The American Society of Echocardiography designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for attending either track.

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 12 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and/or The American Board of Anesthesiology® (ABA) Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® or MOCA®. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is ASE’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABA MOCA and/or ABIM MOC points.

ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor the credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.


Completion of a post event evaluation is required prior to recieving e a CME certificate.
